Al Popp hired as Ad Fontes Upper School Principal
We are very pleased to announce that Mr. Al Popp has been hired to lead the Ad Fontes Upper School program beginning July 1. Al brings a deep passion for classical Christian education and proven academic leadership to AFA.
Al served for 7 years as Headmaster at Jonathan Edwards Academy, a classical Christian school in Massachusetts. He attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as an Aerospace Engineer Major and completed his undergraduate degree as a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Massachusetts with a degree in Classics.
He also holds a Masters degree in Educational Administration from Regents University. In addition to leading the Upper School, he will teach two courses in High School Math, Science or Logic.
Al hails from western Massachusetts and is married to Deneen and has three children, Jonah (age 9), Sarah (7), and Ethan (4).
