How Do I Apply for Assistance?
How Does it Work?

It is expected that families will pursue every other available means of financial assistance prior to applying for aid directly from Ad Fontes (e.g. family, other scholarship programs).

Every family is expected to pay a minimum of 50% of the total tuition, regardless of the amount of assistance for which they qualify.

A beginning guideline is that if tuition exceeds 10% of your gross income, you may qualify for some assistance.

To apply, you complete the Family Financial Needs Assessment (FFNA) form at www.ffna1.com. Ad Fontes code is 4797.

The goal of FFNA is to assist the next generation, regardless of the income of their families, to be able to obtain a biblically based Christian education.

Ad Fontes Academy is committed to providing a classical Christian education that is financially accessible to all families.

Our philosophy of cost-based tuition and need-based financial aid seeks to balance educational excellence with sound stewardship and compassionate support to families that need help to attend AFA.

We are passionate about building a school that cultivates students of wisdom and virtue through a Christ-centered, academically-rigorous classical education. And we are committed to assisting families who are unable to afford the full tuition of the school yet who desire for their children to benefit from an Ad Fontes education.

Through the Ad Fontes Annual Giving Campaign, funds are raised to from parents, grandparents and friends to support Christian families with a proven financial need to enroll at Ad Fontes.

All financial resources provided to families are based solely on an evaluation conducted by the Family Financial Needs Assessment (FFNA), an independent organization that provides third-party, objective and completely confidential financial need assessment for families who apply for financial aid. FFNA works with more than 500 Christian schools throughout the United States and Canada.

Ad Fontes school leadership does not have access to any family's financial information. Financial assistance is granted based on FFNA's recommendations and available scholarship funds.
