Dean Luckenbaugh
President
Dean has served as President at Ad Fontes since July 2007. Since 1998, Dean had served Veritas Classical Christian Schools as founding Chairman before being hired as President in 2003. Dean previously served the YMCA of Greater Richmond for 13 years completing his tenure as Vice President over 3 branches. Dean holds a B.S.B.A. in Marketing and Management from the University of Richmond. Dean has been married for 20 years to Robin and has three children, Rachel, Joshua and Jacob. They are members of Sycamore Presbyterian Church where Dean serves on the missions committee and as a Sunday school teacher.
Carol Brown
Headmaster
Mrs. Brown has a B.A. in Counseling and Rehabilitation, Marshall University and an M. A. in Church Social Service and a minor in Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Since 1981 she has been serving children and their families in Christian camping, children's social service agency's, churches, and classical Christian schools. She has served in four classical Christian schools as a teacher, principal and head of school. Prior to coming to Ad Fontes, the Brown's were missionaries in Lyon, France at The American School of Lyon. Carol has been married for 20 years to Rev. Kyle Brown and has three children: Nolen, Clayton, and Ashley who attend Ad Fontes Academy.
Richard Chenette
Business Manager
Mr. Chenette serves as the Business Manager at Ad Fontes Academy, having previously served as the headmaster of Ad Fontes Academy from 2000-2003. From 1994 to 2000, Mr. Chenette served as the headmaster of Tall Oaks Classical School in Hockessin, Delaware. Mr. Chenette earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering from The Citadel and an M.S. in Management from the Naval Postgraduate School while completing a career with the Navy. His off duty pursuits include caring for his wife and seven children, coordinating the Sunday School program at his local church, and participating in the Centreville Toastmaster Club.
