Thank you for your interest in Ad Fontes Academy. Ad Fontes serves students from Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William counties and even Maryland.

We know that this is one of the most significant decisions you face as parents – who will partner with us in the education of our children? A child’s
K-12 school classroom and community will profoundly influence their core values and foundational skills that they bring to college and life. Thus, we take great care in walking with you in this process.

We trust that you will experience Ad Fontes as a school that cares deeply for your family and your children and is very open to sharing who we are through meetings and school visits. We desire to know each other well so you can make the best school decision for your children.

Christ-centered Education

Ad Fontes is firmly committed to a fully Christ-centered education in all aspects of the school. This begins with the commitment of all leadership and teachers to a Biblical character and worldview. We believe a strong Biblical foundation is essential to preparing students who seek after truth, make wise choices, and have the skills and character to fulfill the purpose for which he or she is created. Education shapes men’s souls, not just their minds.

Classical Education

To pursue lives of meaning and influence, students must be equipped with a strong moral foundation, a love for learning, and intellectual capability. We believe a classical or liberal arts and sciences approach best fulfills these goals. We are not satisfied with only memorizing facts. We rigorously prepare students with foundational knowledge [grammar] and the tools of reasoning [logic] and persuasive writing and speaking [rhetoric]. We are dedicated to cultivating young people of character, intellect, humility and conviction, who are exceedingly well prepared to excel in college.

Parent Partnership and School Community

We believe that parents are the primary educators of their children and are active partners in the educational process. A child’s school community will play an essential role in forming their core values. Ad Fontes aligns with the home and their church to teach a consistent Christian worldview that addresses the significant questions of life. Ad Fontes students will grow up in a nurturing and challenging place where they will establish lifelong mentors and friendships.
